China still faces complex and severe epidemic situation, will stick with dynamic zero Covid policy, said National Health Commission at press conference on Saturday.

The world has entered the winter epidemic season, some domestic regions in China have seen Covid infections rebound significantly, and meanwhile it’s also facing risks of other respiratory diseases, said the NHC.

The authority will organize experts to continuously optimize epidemic control measures based on changes of Covid variants to make the measures more scientific and precise and will coordinate epidemic controls and economic development, it said.
