At the end of June, coal inventories at China’s coal miners stood at 69 million tonnes, an increase by 11.4% from a year earlier, and coal inventories at China’s power generators stood at about 200 million tonnes, marking a new record high, rising by about 28 million tonnes from a year earlier and enough for about 30 days’ consumption, it said.
Coal inventories at China’s major ports stood at 75.02 million tonnes, rising by 17.8% from a year earlier, it said.
