China’s land sales for residential use tumbled over 30% on year in June – research

Land sales for residential use in Chinese cities slumped more than 30% in June from the same period last year, according to data from China Index Academy, a major real estate research firm in China. 

The land deals in tier-one cities plunged about 40% year over year last month, showed the data.

The sold home area in 13 major mainland cities reported a 44.2% year-on-yar fall in June, despite a monthly sales rise of 18.5%, it said.
