China’s lithium prices continue to hit record high

The average price of battery-grade lithium carbonate rises by 2,000 yuan per tonne to hit 558,000 yuan per tonne, hitting a new record high and rising for the 12th consecutive day, according to consultancy Shanghai Metals Market. 

The prices has jumped by 64,000 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days. 

The price of battery-grade lithium hydroxide rises by 2,000 yuan per tonne to 550,500 yuan per tonne, also an all-time high, showed the data.
