China’s top diplomate Wang Yi met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Ankara on Wednesday and Wang said that China and Turkey should make good use of bilateral cooperation mechanisms to promote deep integration between the Belt and Road Initiative and Turkey’s Middle Corridor project, and to continue promoting cooperation in areas such as energy, education, and culture.
China is willing to import more high-quality Turkish products, support the use of local currencies in trade settlements between the two countries’ enterprises, and encourage more Chinese companies to invest and establish business presence in Turkey, Wang said.
