Honda Motor's joint venture with China's Dongfeng Automobile has been approved to resume productions at its plants in Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak. More plants based in the city are expected to get green light to restart operations amid easing concerns about the epidemic.

The Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, an industry park in Wuhan city, has approved Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co. Ltd, Honda Motor's joint venture with China’s Dongfeng Motor, to resume production at its plant located in the zone, shows a document dated March 9.
