East China’s Zhejiang province saw peak power load hit new record

East China’s Zhejiang province saw its peak power load exceed 100 million kW on July 3, eight days earlier than a year earlier, and hit new record high of 102 million kW on the day, according to the provincial power grid. 

Its neighbouring Jiangsu province saw its peak power load exceed 100 kW on May 29, breaking through the 100 kW mark in May for the first time in history, 19 days earlier than 2022.
