Chinese food delivery giant Meituan has made investment in Beijing Zhipu Huazhang Technology, a company associated with the Chinese language foundation model platform Zhipu AI.
Tianjin Sankuai Technology, a subsidiary of Meituan, appeared in the list of shareholders of Zhipu AI, and the company’s registered capital increased from about 14.8069 million yuan to about 16.5286 million yuan, according to updates on corporate registration information platform Tianyancha.
Beijing Zhipu Huazhang Technology was founded in June 2019. Its scope of business includes technical services, development of basic AI softwares, data processing and storage support services, and technological intermediary services.
