Hong Kong stocks, A-shares open down, tech firms and automakers trade lower

The Hang Seng Index open down 0.02% at 15,424, the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index down 0.18% and the Hang Seng Tech Index down 0.38%. 

Technology heavyweights are mostly lower, with Tencent down more than 1.5%, Bilibili and Baidu down 1%. New energy vehicle makers are falling, with Xpeng Motors down 5% and Nio down 2%.

Biotechnology companies and education companies are trading higher. 

The Shanghai Composite Index open down 0.53% at 2,967, the Shenzhen Component Index down 0.84% and the tech-heavy Chinext Price Index down 1.2%.

Food and beverage makers, base metal companies, agriculture companies, steel makers, coal miners are leading the losses, while defence stocks, semiconductor companies, tourism companies are slightly higher.
