Following price cuts by the cloud-service subsidiaries of Alibaba, Tencent and China Mobile, JD.com’s subsidiary JD Cloud announced a campaign for “internet-wide price comparison” for its entire line-up of core products, pledging that such products will be sold at prices lower than those of “specific cloud vendors”, and consumers will be reimbursed should they have to pay more.

The “specific cloud vendors” refer to Alibaba Cloud, Huawei’s Huawei Cloud and Tencent Cloud. JD Cloud’s full range of core products that will be subject to the comparison campaign include computing, storage, networking, databases, middleware, security, video services, and cloud computers.
