Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com reshuffled senior management of several business segments, and Yan Xiaobing, who was previously in charge of JD International Business, has returned to the group, Chinese news outlet Jiemian reported citing people familiar with the matter.
JD will set up a new Innovative Retail Department, which will integrate several independent businesses units such as 7Fresh and Pinpin, with Yan Xiaobing appointed as the head and reporting to the group’s CEO Xu Ran, the report said.
In addition, JD Logistics said on Monday that CEO Yu Rui is stepping down from his role as executive director, CEO, and authorized representative due to personal health reasons. Hu Wei, former CEO of JD’s product development division will take over as the new CEO of JD Logistics.
Cao Dong, former CFO of JD Health, will take over as CEO of JD’s product developer unit.
