Macau’s hotel occupancy reached 92.2% in July, highest since pandemic 

Macau’s hotel occupancy rate reached 92.2% in July, marking a new high since the pandemic, and the average daily visitor arrivals in July reached 78.2% of the level seen in same period in 2019, according to the data released by the Macao Government Tourist Office (MGTO). 

Some 139,000 arrivals were recorded on 12 August, marking the highest single-day volume in three and a half years, showed the data. 

The average daily number of international visitors to Macau in July reached 4,186, reaching 56.6% of the 2019-level, showed the data. 

According to the latest provisional data, average daily international arrivals during the period of August 1 – 17 rose by a 5% from July.
