The Middle East unit of China’s state-owned energy giant PetroChina inked a long-term contract with the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO) in Iraq for diesel supply, according to the official Weibo account of PetroChina International Business.

This marked the first venture of the Middle East unit of PetroChina into the Iraqi diesel market.
