Several Indonesian SOEs expressed interests in pursuing dual-listing in Hong Kong – official

A number of Indonesian state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have expressed interests in pursuing a dual-listing in Hong Kong, said Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, at an interview .

The Hong Kong government will maintain communication with the companies, in hope to explore business and collaborative opportunities with ASEAN nations, he said.  

The decision to permit international companies with a primary listing status in Hong Kong to be included in the Stock Connect Scheme offers a huge incentive for Indonesian firms looking to gain access to Chinese capital, he said.
