Chen Jining, Party Chief of China’s financial hub of Shanghai, met with Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk and his delegation on Thursday.
Chen said that Shanghai has steadily deepened its high-level opening up, actively aligned with high-standard international economic and trade rules, created a market-oriented, law-based and international business environment, providing long-term stable, efficient and convenient service initiatives and policy supply for global enterprises to develop in Shanghai.
Tesla’s cooperation and development in Shanghai has been fruitful and the city welcomes Tesla to increase investment in Shanghai, deepen cooperation in the fields such as new energy vehicles, energy storage, and brings more new products, technologies and services to Shanghai, so that technology can better serve the good life, he said.
