Shenzhen’s party chief met with Alibaba CEO Zhang Yong

Meng Fanli, Shenzhen city’s party chief, met with Alibaba Group Chairman and CEO Zhang Yong, according to local government-backed Shenzhen Special Zone Daily. 

Shenzhen is focusing on high-quality development and building a new development pattern, accelerating the efforts to build Shenzhen into an economic center with global influence and modern international metropolis, Meng said. 

Meng said that he hopes both sides will conduct wider and deeper cooperation, explore more new business models, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win, adding that Shenzhen will provide the best services to support enterprises to achieve better and faster development.
