Sunny Optical’s handset lens set shipments rose 7.3% on year in July, vehicle lens set shipments rose 25.5%

Sunny Optical Technology, a supplier to Apple, said its shipments of handset lens sets reached 95.66 million units in July, rising by 7.3% from a year earlier. 

Shipment of handset camera modules reached 54.55 million units in July, surging 48.3% from a year earlier, mainly due to low base last year, the company said.

Shipments of vehicle lens sets reached 8.08 million units last month, rising by 25.5% from a year earlier, mainly due to rising market demand after the shortage of key component in the automobile supply chain eased, it said.
