Tesla sold 71,704 China-made cars in Oct, down 13.75% from Sept – industry association

Tesla sold 71,704 China-made vehicles in October, surging 31.8% from a year earlier, but down 13.75% from the previous month, according to data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

Tesla has a factory in Shanghai that produces the Model 3 and Model Y. The company currently offers two versions of the Model 3 in China, and three versions of the Model Y. On October 24, Tesla cut the prices of the full Model 3 and Model Y lineup in China, as it appeared to start facing lower order reserves.
