Top 100 Chinese property developers’ spending on land slid 10.2% on year in H1 – research

China’s top 100 property developers spend 592 billion yuan on land acquisitions in the first six months of the year, sliding 10.2% from a year earlier, 1.84 percentage points faster than the drop in the first five months, according to data compiled by China Index Academy, a major real estate research firms in the country. 

China Resources Land ranked the top, with 92.7 billion yuan spent on land acquisition in the first half, according to the data.

It’s followed by Poly Developments and Holdings and C&D Real Estate Corporation Ltd, which spend 81.2 billion yuan and 66.8 billion yuan, respectively, on land acquisition, according to the data.
