Several government departments in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei province, recently held a seminar with leading property developers and over ten developers including China Vanke, Poly Developments, China Resources Land, China Overseas and Suanc China attended the seminar, according to mainland news outlet Cailianshe.

The seminar is aimed at understanding the difficulties faced by developers and their opinions about the market outlook, analyse the effect of real estate policy measures and market changes and encourage property developers to purchase land in Wuhan, according to the report.

Some developers suggested the government to lower the down payment ratio for second-home buyers to further boost the demand for improving housing conditions and to optimize the requirement on land acquisitions, per the report.
