Chinese securities companies' profit surged in June amid stock market rebound

Due to a rebound in China's stock market, securities companies' earnings jumped in June.

As of July 9, 36 of the 37 listed securities brokerage firms had released earnings results for the month of June. Excluding Zhongtai Securities which went public on June 3 and therefore have no comparable data, 35 listed brokerage companies generated a total of 28.697 billion yuan in revenue last month, surging 86.3 per cent from the previous month. Their net profits surged 78.36 per cent to 11.28 billion yuan.
