China's car sales increased in June for the fourth consecutive month and posted the first quarterly rise in two years, as dealers and auto makers began to repair the damage from the coronavirus.

Vehicles sales in the world's largest automobile market totaled 2.3 million units in June, rising 11.6 per cent year over year, according to data released by the government-backed China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on Friday.
