China's factory activity unexpectedly expanded in February, mainly driven by stronger new orders, pointing to resilience in the world's second-largest economy.

The official manufacturing Purchasing Manager's Index (PMI) for February comes in at 50.2, remaining in expansionary territory for the fourth straight month, and picking up a touch from 50.1 in January, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Tuesday.
