BYD to launch five EV models in French, delivery to dealers to start as early as Jun – report

Chinese carmaker BYD Company is launching five electric vehicles on the French market and its dealers will be supplied with the first vehicles as early as this month, with sales to begin shortly after, according to to Electrive.

BYD wants to open 15 to 20 sales locations nationwide with its partners before the end of this year and the company is aiming to have 100 such locations in France, it said.

BYD is launching in France with its electric car trio Atto 3, Han and Tang, which are already available in other European markets. The Dolphin will also be available from July and the Seal after the summer. BYD had confirmed that these would come to Europe in mid-April.
