Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD Company’s new brand Fang Cheng Bao, which translates literally as Formula Leopard, announced that its first model is named “Leopard 5”.
The maximum power of “Leopard 5” reaches 500 kilowatts, and the acceleration from 100 kilometers hits 4s level, according to Chinese media.
The model may be equipped with Yuncar-p intelligent body control system and a new hybrid platform DMO.
According to online rumor, the price of “Leopard 5” may be in the range of 400,000 – 600,000 yuan, and the official delivery is expected to be within this year.
