Auto sales in China, the world’s biggest auto market, surged 365 per cent in February compared to the same period last year, up for their 11th consecutive month, as the country leads the global industry’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Overall vehicle sales reached 1.46 million vehicles last month, showed data release by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on Thursday. Compared to the previous month, the country's auto sales fell 41.9 per cent due to less working days in February when China had its Spring Festival holiday.
