Chinese airlines executed nearly 109,000 passenger flights during the week of August 14 – 20, down 0.1% from the previous week, surging 62.3% from a year ago and up 1.9% from the same period in 2019, according to data from flight information provider Hangban Guanjia.
In particular, domestic passenger flights reached 100,232 during the week, rising by 12.9% from the same period in 2019, showed the data.Â
China’s domestic cargo flight volume reached 1,634 in the week, rising 5.01% from the previous week and up 19.27% from a year earlier, while international cargo flight volume reached 2,624, down 0.46% from the previous week and sliding 34.28% from a year earlier, according to the data.
