China’s lithium carbonate price fell for 28th straight day to hit three-month low

Price of battery-grade lithium carbonate fell by 1,500 yuan to 225,000 yuan per tonne on Friday, marking a new low in more than three months and sliding for the 28th straight day, according to the Shanghai Metals market.

The price fell by 19,000 yuan per tonne in the recent five days and by 82,500 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days.

Price of battery-grade lithium hydroxide fell by 2,000 yuan to 209,000 yuan per tonne, also a new low in more than three months and sliding for the 25th straight day, showed the data.

The price fell by 18,500 yuan per tonne in the recent five days and by 77,000 yuan per tonne in the recent 30 days.Â
