Russia remained China’s largest crude supplier in July, with shipments rising 13% from a year earlier to 8.06 million metric tons, or 1.9 million barrels per day (bpd), according to data from the General Administration of Customs.

For the first seven months of the year, Russian arrivals rose 25% to 60.66 million tons.

Shipments from Saudi Arabia reached 5.65 million tons, falling 14% from a year earlier and down 31% from June, showed the data.

US exports to China jumped fivefold from a year earlier to 161,275 bpd in July, falling from 742,824 bpd in June.

Imports from Malaysia rose 16% on year to 911,926 bpd in July.
