China’s passenger car sales increased on month in September, penetration of new energy passenger vehicles hit 19.5%

China's passenger vehicle output and sales reached 1.77 million units and 1.75 million units in September, respectively, representing an increase of 18.1 per cent and 12.8 per cent from the previous month, according to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

The figures declined 13.9 per cent and 16.5 per cent from the same period last year, respectively, accelerating by 2 percentage points and 4.8 . . .
