China's fiscal revenue and spending both declined on year in September due to high comparison base last year and slowdown in economic activities.

Fiscal revenue fell by 2.1 per cent in September from a year earlier to 1.39 trillion yuan, compared to a 2.7 per cent gain in the previous month, according to data released by the Ministry of Finance.
