China’s power battery sales rose 9.9% on year in June

China’s power battery sales reached 52.2 GWh in June, rising by 9.9% from a year earlier, according to data released by the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance.

In breakdown, sales of ternary batteries reached 18.4 GWh in June, falling by 16.8% from a year earlier and accounting for 35.2% of the total, and sales of lithium iron phosphate batteries reached 33.7 GWh, rising by 33% from a year earlier and accounting for 64.5% of the total, showed the data.

China’s storage battery sales reached 8.7 GWh in June, and in the first half of the year, storage battery sales reached 31.5 GWh, showed the data.
