Carmakers in China exported 382,000 units of vehicles in June, falling by 1.7% from the previous month and surging 53.2% from a year earlier, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
In breakdown, exports of passenger cars reached 312,000 units, down 4.1% from the previous month and surging 57.7% from a year earlier; while exports of commercial vehicle reached about 70,000 units, rising by 10.7% from a year earlier and surging 36% from a year earlier, showed the data.
New energy vehicle export reached about 78,000 units in June, sliding 28.4% from the previous month, but surging 1.7 times from a year earlier, said the association.
In the first half of the year, China exported a total of 2.14 million units of cars, surging 75.7% from a year earlier, showed the data.
