Chinese ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing has applied to raise up to $4 billion in an initial public offering (IPO) in New York, which would be the largest IPO by a Chinese company in the US since 2014.
The Beijing-based company, filing under the name Xiaoju Kuaizhi, plans to sell 288 million American depositary shares (ADS) at between $13 and $14 each, according to a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday. Four ADSs represent one class A ordinary share.
