China’s robot concept companies stage a strong rally, with Thunder Software Technology surging more than 15% in Shenzhen, Guangzhou Haozhi Industrial up 14.7%, Aishida surging by the daily limit of 10%.

ByteDance, parent company of popular short-video platform TikTok, has reportedly formed a team of about 50 people to produce some robots that can sort and pack goods in the warehouse to serve the company’s e-commerce business, according to Chinese tech media LatePost. 

Guosen Securities said in a research note that Tesla’s humanoid robot has progressed rapidly and the commercialization process of humanoid robots is expected to accelerate. The broker maintains an overweight rating from the humanoid robot industry.
