China's services trade deficit shrank sharply in the first five months of the year mainly due to falling trade deficit in tourism amid the coronavirus pandemic.

China’s total volume of services trade declined in the first five months this year amid the coronavirus outbreak, but the trade structure improved with a narrower deficit, said Gao Feng, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) on Friday.

The country's services trade totalled 1.87 trillion yuan ($264.8 billion) during the period of January - May, down 14.6 per cent from the same . . .
