China’s technology minister met six private firms to discuss innovation, technological initiatives

China’s science and technology ministry held a meeting on July 5 with six private companies including ENN Group, Xiaomi, Alibaba Cloud, Wolong Group, iFlytek and Hengtong Group to discuss innovation and national strategic scientific and technological initiatives, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

China will support private companies to create leading science and technologies, accelerate the efforts to cultivate leading technology companies, create a good environment for private companies’ development and encourage more talents to work for leading private science and technology companies, the minister Wang Zhigang said.
