China’s Ministry of Justice and the Cyberspace Administration of China have been studying and reviewing the draft regulations on protection of minors on the internet and will accelerate the legislative process of the regulations after further revision and improvement, reported China’s state broadcaster CCTV.
The draft set rules for promoting minors’ network literacy, regulating internet information and content, protecting minors’ personal information on the internet, and preventing minors from internet addiction, and also stipulates legal responsibility for the illegal behaviuors, the report said.
