Chinese airlines executed nearly 108,000 passenger flights in the week of August 21 – 27, down 1% from the previous week, surging 86.2% from a year earlier and rising by 2% from the same period in 2019, according to data from flight information platform Hangban Guanjian.

Of that, domestic passenger flight volume reached 99,108, representing 113.4% of the 2019-level, showed the data.

China’s domestic cargo flight volume reached 1,617 in the week, down 1.04% from the previous week and up 23.5% from a year earlier, and international cargo flight volume reached 2,658, up 1.3% from the previous week and down 33.15% from a year earlier, showed data from flight information platform Variflight.
