Home rental transactions in China’s major cities rose over 10% on year in H1

The total home rental transaction volume in China’s 40 major cities in the first half of the year increased by more than 10% from the same period last year, according to data compiled by Beike Research Institute. 

Most cities saw home rental activities pick up in the first half from a year earlier, but rent level hasn’t returned to the year-ago level, it said.

Among the 40 cities, 35 cities saw home rental transactions rose from a year earlier and the previous six months, it said.
