Macau’s visitor arrivals rose 24.9% on month in Jul, surged 281.8 times on year

Macau’s total visitor arrivals reached 2.759 million in July, an increase of 24.9% from the previous month and surging 281.8 times from a year earlier, due to lower base in July last year, according to the Statistics and Census Service of Macau.

The average length of stay of visitors was 1.3 days, it said.

During the period, a total of 2.16 million visitor arrivals were made by land, of which 47% were made via Border Gate, 33% were via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and 14% were via Hengqin Port.

In the first seven months, there were 14.4 million visitor arrivals, rising 3.1 times from a year earlier, it said.
