China’s largest hotpot chain Haidilao International has seen set up stalls at night market to sell hot pot on the streets in cities including Qingdao, Shandong province, and some cities in Hebei province, according to Chinese news outlet.

The stalls are self-operated by individual Haidilao stores, not open for franchising, and the prices of the dishes sold there are the same as in the stores, said Haidilao.

The recent night market stalls are an innovation experiment made by individual stores to cater to local customers’ consumer preferences, Haidilao said in response.
