Li Auto delivered 10,422 cars in July, up 21.3% on year

Chinese automaker Li Auto delivered 10,422 vehicles in July, up 21.3% from a year earlier, but down 20% from the previous month, the company said on Monday.

For the first seven months of the year, Li Auto delivered 70,825 cars, up 82.81% from the same period last year, it said.

Li ONE, which has accumulated 194,913 deliveries since the vehicle debuted in the market in 2019, it said. Li Auto launched the Li L9 on June 21, the company’s second model and the deliveries are expected to begin this month.

Li Auto said the company saw the 200,000th Li ONE roll off the production line on Monday at its manufacturing facility in Changzhou, Jiangsu province. “It only took us 986 days to reach the production milestone of 200,000 for Li ONEs, once again setting a record among China’s emerging NEV makers following our historic speed in reaching the 100,000-unit mark,” said Shen Yanan, co-founder and president of Li Auto.

The Li ONE is also the first domestic branded premium model priced above 300,000 yuan in China to achieve the production milestone, Shen added.
