Listing price of second-hand homes in China’s major cities fell 0.54% on month in June – research

The average listing price of second-hand homes in China’s 65 major cities stood at 16,471 yuan per square meter in June, falling by 0.54% from the previous month, and only 9 of the 65 cities recorded month-on-month gains in the prices, according to a report released by online real estate platforms 58.com and Anjuke.

The total listings of second-hand homes declined by 9.2% in June from the prior month and among the four tier-one cities, Guangzhou’s listings increased by 0.7% in June from the previous month, while the other three all recorded declines in listings, according to the report.

Among the other cities, second-hand home listings in Tianjin rose 13% month on month in June and it’s followed by Baotou with 9.1% rise, according to the report.
