Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio said it delivered 10,059 vehicles in October, surging 174.3% from a year earlier.

During the first ten months of the year, Nio delivered a total of 92,493 vehicles, rising by 32% from a year earlier.

As of the end of October, Nio had recorded cumulative sales of 259,563 units of cars, it said.

Xpeng Motors said it delivered 5,101 vehicles in October, sliding 49.7% from a year earlier and falling by 39.8% from 8,468 units in the previous month.

Li Auto said it delivered 10,052 vehicles in October, rising 31.4% from a year earlier.

As of the end of October, Li Auto delivered a total of 221,067 vehicles, it said.

The carmaker will officially start delivery of its newly launched L8 models in November, it said.

Leapmotor said it delivered 7,026 cars in October, sliding 36.35% from the previous month and surging 92.3% from a year earlier.

During the first ten months of the year, Leapmotor delivered 94,628 cars, soaring 218.8% from the same period last year.

Leapmotor, founded in 2015 and listed in Hong Kong a month earlier, and is currently selling mini car T03, coupe model S01, flagship SUV model C11, and flagship sedan C01.

Zeekr, Geely Auto’s electric vehicle brand, said it delivered a record 10,119 vehicles in October, up 22.27% from 8,276 units in September and skyrocketing 4,984.9% from 199 units in October last year, which was the first month of deliveries.

Zeekr’s only model currently on sale is the Zeekr 001, and it is now holding the launch event of its second model, the Zeekr 009 MPV. Since deliveries began in October last year, the Zeekr 001 has accumulated 55,600 units.

On October 31, Geely said that it had submitted a proposal to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange to spin off Zeekr and list it separately.

Zeekr was formally established as a separate company in March 2021, and the Zeekr 001 was unveiled on April 15 last year.

AITO, the electric vehicle brand jointly built by Huawei and Seres Group, said it delivered a record 12,018 cars in October, up 18.5% from 10,142 in September.

It’s the third consecutive month that the brand has delivered more than 10,000 vehicles, bringing cumulative deliveries since March to 57,777.

GAC Aion, the new energy vehicle subsidiary of automaker GAC Group, said it sold 30,063 cars in Oct, largely unchanged from 30,016 units in Sept, but up 149% from a year.

The company had cumulative sales of 212,384 units in the Jan – Oct period, up 134% from a year earlier, it said.
