The headline S&P Global Hong Kong PMI fell to 50.3 in June from 50.6 in May, expanding for the 6th consecutive months but marking the lowest reading in the expansionary territory.

However, the growth in new orders slowed in June and despite higher tourism activity, there was only a marginal rise in new business volume, according to the survey.

New orders coming from mainland China and overseas grew at a slower pace, both hitting the lowest levels since January this year.

However, business confidence climbed to the highest since March, showed the survey.
