The city of Qingdao in East China’s Shandong province announced on Wednesday that it will halt the centralized auction of 100 lots of land, joining several other cities including Shenzhen and Tianjin that have suspended or postponed land sales this year.

The auction of 100 centrally offered land plots in Qingdao, which was announced on July 30, has been suspended and the new auction date will be announced later, Qingdao’s Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning said.
