Xpeng Motors’ car delivery down 24.7% on month, up 43.3% on year

Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng Motors delivered 11,524 cars in July, up 43.3% from a year earlier, but down 24.7% from 15,295 in June, the company said on Monday. That included 6,397 P7 sedans, 3,608 P5 sedans and 1,519 G3i compact SUVs.

In the period of January – July, XPeng delivered 80,507 vehicles, up 107.6% from the same period last year. By the end of July, XPeng’s cumulative deliveries reached nearly 220,000 units, it said.

In August, XPeng plans to start accepting reservations for its new flagship G9 SUV followed by an official launch in September, the company said on Monday.
