Chinese small companies saw revenue slump 70% due to coronavirus impact lingers

China’s small companies saw their income plunge nearly 70 per cent due to the coronavirus outbreak, with firms in the hospitality and education sectors facing the biggest challenges.

Revenues for small, medium-sized and micro firms at the end of last month were 69.5 per cent below the same period a year earlier, according to the study by Tsinghua University’s PBC School of Finance.
