A new round of high temperature weather will hit northern China starting June 27, according to the China Meteorological Administration.

Most parts of the North China Plain, including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, northern Henan province and northern Shandong province, will see temperature exceed 37 ℃ on June 27 and from June29 onwards, high temperature above 37 ℃ will hit wider areas from the core parts of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to the whole of North China, it said.

On July 1, the intensity of the heatwave will peak and many regions in northern China will see temperature above 40 ℃, it said.
